Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in
the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

ORAHIRI No. 5A Block, comprising the whole of Sections 28
and 29, parts of Sections 20 and 26, Block XII, Otorohanga
Native Township. Approximate area, 1 acre 2 roods 37·8
perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of
April, 1928.

Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the third day of
November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and pub-
lished in the Gazette of the sixth day of that month, setting
apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers, under
the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it
relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Ohinemuri County.-Waihou Survey District.

SECTION 21, Block IX: Area, 165 acres 3 roods 23 perches.
Section 25, Block IX : Area, 92 acres 1 rood.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of
April, 1928.

Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in
the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 1 acre 2 roods
3 perches.
Adjoining Section 7 and Crown land, Block XI, Town of
Ettrick.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1514,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2247, and thereon coloured
green.

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of

New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Manga-
orongo Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 30 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Otorohanga 1F No. 4A, Orahiri l
No. 1, Section B, and Mahoaonui C No. 1.

Situated in Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District (Auck-
land R.D.). (S.O. 24576.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71699, de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Welling-
ton, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of April,

Adjoining of passing through Sections 4 and 5, Block I, and
Section 1, Block V.

Situated in Wharepapa Survey District. (S.O. 24322.)

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71472,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of

vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other
power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf,
I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be
Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of stopped Government
road declared to be Crown land : 3 roods 25 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotments 20 and 51,
Mangatawhiri Parish.
