South Oamaru - Waianakarua, via Kakanui.

All that road or portion of road in the Waitaki County,
commencing at the southern boundary of the Borough of
Oamaru, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction via Kakanui, and terminating at its junction with the
Christchurch-Dunedin Main Highway at Waianakarua,
opposite the south-western corner of L.T. 1860, Block 2,
Otepopo Survey District, being a distance of 14 miles
40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71567, and
thereon coloured red.

Hillgrove-Moeraki.

All that road or portion of road in the Waitaki County,
commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Dunedin
Main Highway at Hillgrove, and proceeding generally in an
easterly direction, and terminating at the old jetty in
Moeraki Township, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more
or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71566, and thereon coloured
red.

Timaru-Queenstown, via Tekapo and Lindis Pass.

All that road or portion of road in the Mackenzie and Waitaki
Counties, commencing at its junction with the present Wash-
dyke-Tekapo Main Highway at Tekapo, and proceeding
generally in a south-westerly direction via the Mackenzie
Road, Simons Pass, Pukaki River Bridge, Ohau River Bridge,
and Omarama, and terminating at the south-western boundary
of the Waitaki County at Lindis Pass, being a distance of
76 miles, more or less. Shown on plans P.W.D. 71561 and
71562, and thereon coloured red.

Cave-Pareora, via Martin's Bridge.

All that road or portion of road in the Mackenzie and Waitaki
Counties, commencing at its junction with the Wash-
dyke-Tekapo Main Highway at Cave, and proceeding
generally in a south-easterly direction via Cannington Road,
Martin's Bridge, and Pareora Main Road, and terminating
at its junction with the Christchurch-Dunedin Main Highway
at Pareora, being a distance of 20 miles, more or less. Shown
on plan P.W.D. 71563, and thereon coloured red.

Waihao Downs - Wright's Bridge, via Hakataramea.

All that road or portion of road in the Waimate
County, commencing at its junction with the Waimate-
Waihao Downs Main Highway at Waihao Downs, and pro-
ceeding generally in a south-westerly and north-westerly
direction via Main Waitaki Road, Hakataramea, and along
the left bank of the Hakataramea River, and terminating at
a point opposite the north-western boundary of Section 28169,
Block VII, Hakataramea Survey District, at Wright's Bridge,
being a distance of 38 miles, more or less, Shown on plan
P.W.D. 71563, and thereon coloured red.

Waimate-Studholme Junction.

All that road or portion of road in the Waimate County,
commencing at its junction with the Waimate-McNamara's
Corner Main Highway at the southern corner of rural Section
6217, Block XV, Waimate Survey District, and proceeding
generally in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at
its junction with the Christchurch-Dunedin Main Highway
at a point opposite the north-eastern corner of Rural Section
10404, Block XV, Waimate Survey District, being a distance
of 3 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D.
71563, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 16.

Dunback to Middlemarch.

All that road or portion of road in the Waihemo County,
commencing at its junction with the Palmerston-Queenstown,
via Beck's, Main Highway near Dunback, at a point opposite
the south-eastern corner of Section 31, Block 4, Dunback
Survey District, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly
direction via Macraes and Moonlight, and terminating at the
western boundary of the Waihemo County, being a distance
of 20 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71573, and
thereon coloured red.

Dunedin-Port Chalmers.

All that road or portion of road in the Waikouaiti County,
commencing at the northern boundary of the West Harbour
Borough, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly
direction, and terminating at the western boundary of the

Borough of Port Chalmers, being a distance of 1 mile
27 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71574, and
thereon coloured red.

Also all that street or portion of street in the West Harbour
Borough, commencing at the south-western boundary of the
Borough of West Harbour, and proceeding generally in a
north-easterly direction via the Dunedin - Port Chalmers
Road, and terminating at the north-eastern boundary of the
Borough of West Harbour, being a distance of 6 miles
40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71575, and
thereon coloured red.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of
Port Chalmers, commencing at the western boundary of the
Borough of Port Chalmers, and proceeding generally in a
north-easterly direction via Main Road and George Street,
and terminating at the junction of George Street and Beach
Street, being a distance of 40 chains, more or less. Shown on
plan P.W.D. 71576, and thereon coloured red.

St. Bathan's Loop.

All that road or portion of road in the Maniototo County,
commencing at its junction with the Palmerston-Queenstown,
via Beck's, Main Highway, near Hills Creek, at a point
opposite the southern boundary of Section 9, Block 9, Blackstone
Survey District, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly
direction, across the Manuherikia River, thence through the
Township of St. Bathan's, thence in a south-westerly direction
generally following the right bank of the Dunstan Creek,
and terminating at its junction with the Palmerston-
Queenstown, via Beck's, Main Highway near Beck's at a
point opposite the southern corner of Section 34, Block 2,
Blackstone Survey District, being a distance of 16 miles
40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71577, and
thereon coloured red.

Ida Valley Railway-station - Moa Creek School.

All that road or portion of road in the Maniototo and Vincent
Counties, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 4, Block 16, Blackstone Survey District, and proceeding
generally in a south-westerly direction, and terminating at
the northern corner of Section 1, Block IX, Tiger Hill Survey
District, being a distance of 16 miles, more or less. Shown
on plan P.W.D. 71578, and thereon coloured red.

Waipiata-Styx.

All that road or portion of road in the Maniototo County,
commencing at the Waipiata Railway-station, and proceeding
generally in a south-westerly direction via Patearoa and along
Styx-Patearoa Road, and terminating at the Styx Post-office,
being a distance of 22 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown
on plan P.W.D. 71579, and thereon coloured red.

Lumsden-Kingston.

All that road or portion of road in the Lake County, com-
mencing at the boundary of the Southland County near Athol,
at the Mataura River, at the south-eastern corner of Section 15,
Block 28, Eyre Survey District, and proceeding generally
in a northerly direction, and terminating at a point opposite
the Kingston Post-office, being a distance of 17 miles 40
chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71580, and
thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 17.

Dunback to Middlemarch.

All that road or portion of road in the Taieri County,
commencing at the western boundary of the Waihemo County,
and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction across
the Taieri River, and terminating at a point opposite the
Middlemarch Post-office at its junction with the Mosgiel
Junction - Middlemarch Main Highway, being a distance of
14 miles 20 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D.
71573, and thereon coloured red.

Outram to Berwick, via Woodside.

All that road or portion of road in the Taieri County, com-
mencing at its junction with the Mosgiel Junction - Middle-
march Main Highway near Outram, and proceeding generally
in a south-westerly direction, and terminating at its junction
with the Dunedin City Corporation Road at Berwick, being
a distance of 9 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D.
71583, and thereon coloured red.

Dunedin - Dukes Road Railway-station.

All that road or portion of road in the Taieri County, com-
mencing at the north-western boundary of the City of Dun-
edin, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction via
Halfway Bush, and terminating at its junction with the
Mosgiel Junction - Middlemarch Main Highway near Dukes
