Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of February then instant, setting apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 15, Block II, Takapau Survey District: Area, 109 acres, 2 roods 7 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of March, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the third day of May then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 16, Block VII, Kawakawa Survey District: Area, 78 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of March, 1928.

Adding to the Outer Area of the Waitaki Electric-power District Territory subtracted from the Outer Area of the South Canterbury Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and the Electric-power Boards Amendment Act, 1927, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Outer Areas of the Waitaki and South Canterbury Electric-power Districts by excluding the area described in the Schedule hereto from the Outer Area of the South Canterbury Electric-power District and including such area in the Outer Area of the Waitaki Electric-power District.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District bounded as follows: Commencing at a point in the centre of the Waitaki River opposite the south-western end of the rabbit-fence (as at present erected) bounding that part of Run 61 in Block 9 of the Hakataramea Survey District; thence following the said rabbit-fence in a north-easterly direction, then in a northerly direction, and then in a north-easterly direction to the junction of the boundary of the said rabbit-fence with the western boundary of Section 35325; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary-line of Section 35325 to its junction with the northern boundary of Section 31771; thence in an easterly direction along such northern boundary to the western boundary of Section 26079; thence along such latter boundary and the northern boundary of the said section in a northerly direction and then in an easterly direction to the eastern corner Section 30125; thence following the boundary of the said Section 30125 in a north-easterly direction, and then in a south-easterly direction, and then in a south-westerly direction to the north-east boundary-line of Section 31541; thence in a south-easterly direction and then in a southerly direction to the northern boundary of Section 26075; thence following the boundary of the said Section 26075 first in an easterly, second southerly, and then westerly direction to the north-west corner of Section 31772; thence following the south-west boundary of Section 31772 in a south-easterly direction to its junction with the Hakataramea Main Road; thence across the said road in a south-easterly direction along a line bounding Sections 31305 and 31509 to the north bank of the Hakataramea River, then across the said river to the north-western end of the line bounding Sections 28320 and 28321; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-west boundary of Sections 28321 and 32623 to the south-east corner of the said Section 32623; thence in a southerly and thence in a north-westerly direction along the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 36119 to the north-west boundary of Section 36121; thence in a south-westerly direction along the north-west boundary of Section 36121 to its junction with the north-east boundary of Section 33824; thence following the boundary of the said Section 33824 in a north-westerly, then south-westerly, and then south-easterly direction to its junction with the eastern boundary of Section 36122; thence following the eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Section 36122 in a southerly and then north-westerly direction to the south-east boundary of Section 28411; thence following along the said south-east boundary of Section 28411 in a south-westerly direction, crossing a road, and continuing on in the same straight line to a point in the middle of the Waitaki River; thence in a north-westerly direction by a line along the middle of the Waitaki River back to the commencing-point. As the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71807, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of April, 1928.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Blocks VI and X, Bealey Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the purposes of the Midland Railway, Arthur’s Pass Section, and is not now required for such purposes) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Tawera County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
