Consenting to Land being taken for Street Purposes in the
Borough of Otahuhu.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day
of January, 1928.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for
street purposes.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken:
3·2 perches.
Being portion of Lot 4 on D.P. 17719, being portion of Lot 18,
on D.P. 9609, and being portion of Fairburn's O.L.C. 269A.
Situated in the Borough of Otahuhu, Block VI, Otahuhu
Survey District. (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 24401.)
In the North Auckland Land District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70829,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

Declaring a Native to be a European.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day
of January, 1928.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section seventeen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1912, it is enacted that the Go-
vernor-General may by Order in Council, on the recommenda-
tion of the Native Land Court, declare any Native to be a
European:
And whereas Henare Horonuku Kerehi, of Wellington,
being a Native within the meaning of the Native Land Act,
1909, applied in the prescribed form for a recommendation
of the Court that he might be declared a European: And
whereas the said Court, having duly inquired into the said
application, has recommended that an Order in Council be
issued declaring the said Henare Horonuku Kerehi to be a
European: And whereas it is expedient that such declaration
should be made:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers and authority conferred on him by section seventeen
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, and acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the said Henare
Horonuku Kerehi to be a European.

Declaring Road in Block V, Tarawera Survey District, to
be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Go-
vernor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the
date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a
Government road: 1 acre 0 roods 7·5 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Rotomahana - Parekarangi,
Section 6s, Section 2B.
Situated in Block V, Tarawera Survey District. (S.O.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at

District, to be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
Government road.
SCHEDULE.

District, Thames County, to be a Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
December, 1927.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare
that on and after the date of gazetting of this Order in Council
the portion of main highway mentioned in the Schedule hereto
shall become a Government Road.
SCHEDULE.
POKENO-TAURANGA to COROMANDEL: All that portion of the
main highway, known as the Pokeno-Tauranga Junction to
Coromandel Main Highway, commencing at the northern
boundary of the Borough of Thames and proceeding thence
generally in a northerly direction through Block I, Thames
Survey District, Blocks XIV, XI, and VI, Hastings Survey
