Trade-marks.—Goods prohibited to be imported.

IT is hereby notified for public information that under the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1908, goods of the nature set forth hereunder, to which the trade-marks described below have been falsely applied, in infringement of the registered trade-marks of the Columbia Graphophone Company, Limited, of 102 to 108 Clerkenwell Road, London, are prohibited from importation into New Zealand.
If any such goods are imported they will be liable to detention and to be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of that Act.
A trade-mark is deemed, for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, to be falsely applied to goods if it is applied without the assent of the proprietor of such trade-mark.

Peel Forest Park.
BY-LAWS.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it by the Peel Forest Act, 1926, the Peel Forest Board doth hereby make the following by-laws for the purposes of the said Act:—
Interpretation.—In the construction of the by-laws the words and expressions following shall have the meanings assigned to them respectively, that is to say,—
“The Park” means the Peel Forest Park constituted under the Peel Forest Act, 1926;
“Board” means the Peel Forest Board as constituted by section 5 of the said Act:
“Chairman” means the Chairman, as defined by section 9 of the said Act:
“Ranger” means a Ranger appointed under section 3 of the said Act:
“Stock” includes any horse, donkey, mule, goat, pig, or cattle beast.

The park shall be open to the public throughout the year without charge for admission thereto, except as hereafter provided.

No person shall light or cause to be lighted any fire within the limits of the park without the consent of the Board first had and obtained, except at and in such fire-places as shall from time to time be constructed by the Board and appointed by it for that purpose.

No person shall, without the written authority of the Chairman, acting on a decision of the Board, place in the ground, sow, or plant any seed or plant in the park, whether such seed or plant be native in New Zealand or not; nor shall birds, insects, or other animals be liberated therein except under like authority.

No person shall bring into, or permit or suffer any dog (unless led) to follow him within the park, and any dog found within the park (unless led) may be destroyed by any person authorized by the Board, and no person shall bring in to the park any other animal of any kind whatsoever except as hereinafter provided.

No person shall take, carry, or use firearms or any fireworks or explosive, or any weapon or instrument of a dangerous nature, or bows and arrows, or catapult, or shanghai, within the limits of the park, except with the permission of the Board.

No meeting or assemblage of persons of any kind for picnics, sports, or games shall be held within the limits of the park without the permission of the Chairman in writing first had and obtained, and any such meeting shall be held only at such place therein as shall be specified and appointed by the Board for such purposes or any of them.

Children under twelve will be allowed in the park only if accompanied by some responsible person.

All persons wishing to camp in the park shall apply to the office of the Ranger for assignment to camping-sites, and shall pay such fees or charges as may from time to time be fixed by the Board, and shall not change camp-sites without permission from the Ranger. The following conditions must be strictly observed in connection with camp-sites:—
(a) Combustible rubbish must be burned on camp-fires and all other garbage and refuse of all kinds shall be placed in garbage-cans, or, if cans are not available, placed in pits provided at the edge of the camp. At new or unfrequented camps garbage must be burned or carried to a place hidden from sight.
(b) No person, whether camping in the park or otherwise therein, shall, except at places which may be indicated by the Ranger or other officer of the Board, wash clothing or cooking-utensils, or bathe, or pollute in any other manner the waters of the park, nor shall he bathe in any of the streams near the regularly travelled thoroughfares in the park without suitable bathing-clothes.
(c) No person shall tie or tether stock in such a way that they may be able to enter any of the streams of the park. All animals shall be kept at sufficient distance from camping-grounds so as not to litter the ground and render the area unfit for use as tent-sites.
(d) No person shall take any dogs or cats into the park without permission of the Ranger.
(e) No person shall take any wood for fuel except from dead trees or from trees which have been cut for the purpose by the Board’s employees.

No person shall bring into or drive or operate any vehicle of any description whatsoever or bring into or ride any horse, pony, or donkey in the park without the permission first had and obtained of the Board or some person authorized by it.

No person shall leave bottles, glass, paper, or other litter on any place within the limits of the park.
