ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of
February, 1928.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a
further period of six months the Order in Council dated the
twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-seven, and gazetted the twenty-fourth day of February,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, but only in so
far as it affects the land specified in the Schedule hereto,
prohibiting all alienation other than alienation in favour of
the Crown.

mate area, 280 acres 3 roods.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section,
and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the
Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjust-
ment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby
extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in
Council dated the ninth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-six, and gazetted the twelfth day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, pro-
hibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the
Schedule hereto, other than alienation in favour of the
Crown.

Householder Circulars: Charges.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of
February, 1928.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the seventeenth day
of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twentieth
day of the same month, a regulation was made under the
authority of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter
termed “the said Act”), fixing the charges for the transmission
of “householder” circulars in cases in which not less than
250,000 copies of such circulars from one sender are posted at
one time:

And whereas it is expedient to revoke such regulation and
to make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act,
and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that
behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
the regulation made by the above-mentioned Order in Council,
and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the regulation set forth
in the Schedule hereto, and doth declare that the regulation
hereby made shall form part of and be read together with the
regulations fixing charges for the receiving, despatching, con-
veying, and delivering of postal packets, made by Order in
Council dated the third day of September, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-three, and shall take effect on and after
the publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand
Gazette
.

SCHEDULE.

“HOUSEHOLDER” CIRCULARS.

In cases in which 250,000 or more “householder” circulars
are posted by one sender within a period not exceeding twelve
months, the postage rate for each circular shall be ⅜d. for each
2 oz. or fraction thereof:

Provided that, if the posting is spread over such a period,
postage shall be paid at the rate for each circular of ¼d. for each
2 oz. until 187,500 circulars have been posted; and thereafter
further circulars, not exceeding 62,500 in number, shall be
accepted postage free if posted within twelve months of the
date of the initial posting.

of the Foreshore at Half-moon Bay, Stewart Island, as a
Site for a Stacking-stage.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day
of February, 1927.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered
to grant the license hereinafter mentioned, George
Leonard Gregg, of Half-moon Bay, Stewart Island (who with
his executors, administrators, and assigns is hereinafter
referred to as “the licensee”), has applied to the Governor-
General in Council for a license under the Harbours Act,
1923 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), to occupy a part
of the foreshore at Half-moon Bay, Stewart Island, as a site
for a stacking-stage, to be built in the position and in
accordance with plan marked M.D. 6423, and deposited in
the office of the Marine Department at Wellington:

And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor-
General in Council that the work will not be or tend to the
injury of navigation, and the said plan has, prior to the
making of this Order in Council, been approved by the
Governor-General in Council:

And whereas it is desirable that a license should be granted
and issued to the licensee under the said Act for the purpose
aforesaid, on the terms and conditions hereinafter expressed:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
