ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1927.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section four of the War Regulations Continuance Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke clauses numbered respectively 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 of the regulations set out in the Second Schedule to the said Act relating to Trading with the Enemy as amended by regulations made by Order in Council on the eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the Gazette on the fifteenth day of the same month, at page 1580.

Rate of Duty on Compo-board.—(C. No. 51).

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section one hundred and thirty-five of the Customs Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that “compo-board” consisting of timber with a layer of paper-pulp, strawboard, paper, or similar material cemented thereto on one or both sides, and being an article which is not specifically enumerated in the Tariff, and which is, in the opinion of the Minister of Customs, a substitute for plaster-board, shall be charged with duty at the rate of twenty per centum ad valorem under the British Preferential Tariff and forty per centum ad valorem under the General Tariff, and shall, in addition, be liable to the primage duty of one per centum ad valorem imposed by section fifteen of the Customs Amendment Act, 1921.

Vesting a Reserve in the Rotorua Borough Council.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1927.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a site for municipal buildings: And whereas it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Rotorua:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Rotorua, in trust, for a site for municipal buildings.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 5 acres 0 roods 7·38 perches, more or less, being part of the Rotorua Town Belt: Bounded towards the north by Amohau Street, 1436·56 links; towards the east by a public road, 100 links wide, 417·31 links; towards the south by a closed road formerly Pererika Street and the proposed Rotorua-Taupo railway, 642·45, 5·0, 480·4, and 201·3 links; towards the west by Section l of the Rotorua Town Belt, 296·98 links. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3455B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink. Auckland plans 24494 and 24500.

Vesting the Control of a Water-conservation Reserve in the Te Aroha Borough Council.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1927.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for water-conservation purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Te Aroha Borough Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Te Aroha Borough Council, subject, however, to the right of the Crown to take metal from the said reserve free of charge and to authorize any other local authority to take metal from the said reserve.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 60 acres 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, being part Section 17c, part Section 17D No. 6, and part Section 15, all in Block IX, Aroha Survey District: Bounded towards the north by part Section 15, 1114·1 links; towards the north-east by Section 14c, 1820·8 links; towards the south-east by part Section 15 (proposed scenic reserve), part Section 15 (recreation reserve), and by Section 16 (hot springs reserve), 4051 links; again towards the south-west by Section 10, Block XXVIc, Township of Te Aroha, and Boundary Street, 337·49 links; towards the north-west by Boundary Street, 168 links; towards the south-west by Boundary Street, and by Sections 133, 132, 131, 130, and 129, Block LIII, Township of Te Aroha, 550·67 links; towards the north-west and then towards the south-west by Section 127, Block LIII, of the aforesaid township, 248·32 links and 100·59 links; again towards the north-west and then towards the south-west by Kenrick Street, 150 links and 99 links; towards the north-west generally by part Section 17, Block IX, Aroha Survey District (Te Aroha Water-supply Reserve), 525, 77, 267, 812, 957, 116, and 156 links; towards the south-west, south-east, and north-east by Section 122, Block IX, Aroha Survey District (Quarry Reserve), 859, 2071·3, and 264 links; towards the south-east by Bridge Street, 450 links; towards the south-west by Sections 76, 75, 74, 73, Block LIII, of the aforesaid township, 420·01 links; again towards the north-west and then towards the south-west by Burgess Street, 100 links and 150 links; towards the north-west by Section 139, Block LIII, of the aforesaid township, 249·34 links; towards the south-west by Section 139 and part Section 138, Block LIII, of the aforesaid township, 160·2 links; towards the north-west by part Section 17a, Block IX, Aroha Survey District. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 42289, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
