NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the
company will be held on Tuesday, the 8th day of March,
1927, at the office of Messrs. Thomson, Gray, and Rodger,
National Bank Chambers, Shortland Street, Auckland, at
2 p.m., for the purpose of receiving and considering the
report of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the
winding-up of the company has been conducted and the
assets of the company disposed of, and for the purpose of
passing the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution,
viz: “That the company, having been wound up and being
about to be dissolved, the Liquidator is hereby authorized
to destroy the books, accounts, and documents of the company
and of the Liquidator as and when he thinks fit.”

THE MASTER TON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Masterton
County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Masterton
County Ngaumu Road Loan of £1,000, 1926, authorized to
be raised by the Masterton County Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Ngaumu
Road in the Wainuioru Riding of the County of Masterton,
the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
one-fifth (1/5th) of one penny in the pound sterling on the
rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rate-
able property in the Ngaumu Road Special-rating District,
being described as follows:—
SCHEDULE.
Commencing at the south-western corner of Poroporo
Settlement, Lot 2, Block IV, Wainuioru Survey District ;
then along the southern boundary of the said Lot 2 to the
south-eastern corner of such Lot 2; thence in a north-
easterly direction by the eastern boundaries of the said Lot 2,
Lot 1, Poroporo Settlement, Block IV, Wainuioru Survey
District, and Lot 4 of Section 147, Block IV, Wainuioru
Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 4 ;
then in a north-easterly direction along the eastern boundary
of Section 146, Block IV, Wainuioru Survey District, to the
south-eastern boundary of part No. 2, Te Maipi, Block I,
Kaiwhata Survey District ; then along the eastern boundary
