At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of February, 1927.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. NOSWORTHY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Frederick Curow, Thomas John Henderson, Charles Raymond Mazengarb, George McLeod, Robert Scott, Stacey Alexander Walker, and Thomas Ward to be the Tuatapere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of Mr. C. R. Mazengarb, Tuatapere, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Frederick de Bruno Austin, Richard Boyd, William Edward Honey, Andrew McKay, James Standring, John Geoffrey Swarbrick, and Henry John Francis Tombleson to be the Otoko Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, at half-past one o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Otoko School as the place where. the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of February, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE W. NOSWORTHY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of two years the Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and gazetted the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and gazetted the thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, it is provided that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act or in any rule of law, where a local authority or public body has been authorized before the passing of the said Act, or is thereafter authorised, to borrow money, whether pursuant to a poll of ratepayers or otherwise howsoever, whether the rate of interest or the term of years of the loan was or was not specified or determined, and such money, or any part thereof has not been borrowed, the local authority or public body may, with the precedent consent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such money, or such amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at such rate of interest or for such term, as may be prescribed by the Governor-General by Order in Council:
