Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
ORAHIRI P Block (part), comprising that part of Lot 2, Section 13, and those parts of Sections 14 and 15, Block XII, Otorohanga Native Township, situate within the said Orahiri P Block : Approximate area, 2 roods 23·2 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of February, 1927.

Allocating Cost of certain Proceedings under Section 132 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, Borough of Waipawa.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of February, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE W. NOSWORTHY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Waipawa Borough Council shall defray all the costs of the Commission appointed under the said Act by a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General dated the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, to inquire and report upon the proposal to exclude a certain area from the Borough of Waipawa and to include such area in the County of Waipawa.

Apportionment of Representation on Whangarei, Hawera, and Westland Hospital Boards.

THE HONOURABLE W. NOSWORTHY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS from time to time by Order in Council made under the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, and enuring under the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and particularly by Order in Council made on the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-second day of the same month at page 773 (hereinafter called “the said Order in Council”), regulations have been made with respect to the constitution of Hospital Boards and the election of representatives of contributory local authorities thereon, and

apportionments have been made with regard to the representation of such contributory local authorities:
And whereas it is desirable to alter the number of representatives of certain contributory districts in manner herein-after appearing and to provide for the election of additional representatives:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, doth hereby revoke the said Order in Council so far as it provides for the number of representatives of the following contributory districts—namely, Whangarei Borough, Hawera Borough, and Hokitika Borough—on the Boards of the hospital districts in which the said contributory districts respectively are included, and in lieu thereof doth hereby determine that the number of representatives of each contributory district whose name is set out in the second column of the Schedule hereto on the Board of the hospital district whose name is set out in the first column of the said Schedule shall be the number specified in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the name of that contributory district, and doth hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect, and the provisions hereby made shall come into force, upon the next ensuing general election of representatives of the said contributory districts on the said respective Boards, to be held pursuant to section twenty of the said Act, and doth hereby further declare that the regulations made by the said Order in Council shall apply, mutatis mutandis, as if incorporated in this Order in Council.

Directing Sale of Railway Land under the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of February, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE W. NOSWORTHY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 0·8 perches.
Portion of Railway Reserve (Section 515, Town of Picton). Borough of Picton. (S.O. 920/54.)
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39081, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
