HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of section 4 of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, been pleased to appoint--
John Mulholland
to be a Trustee in place of John Forrester (deceased), to provide for the maintenance and care of the Ranfurly Public Cemetery.
Robert Holdgate
to be a Trustee in place of Edward Holdgate (deceased), to provide for the maintenance and care of the Timaru Public Cemetery.
Hugh Manson
to be a Trustee in place of Peter Bartram Packard (deceased), to provide for the maintenance and care of the Clifton Public Cemetery.
Norman Edwin Moffat
to be a Trustee in place of George Davis (deceased), to provide for the maintenance and care of the Eastern Bush Public Cemetery.

    THE following notice, received from the Mayor of the Borough of Featherston, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

    FEATHERSTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
    Notice of Result of Poll.
    PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Featherston, taken on the 22nd day of November, 1927, on the proposal of the Featherston Borough Council to borrow the sum of one thousand pounds (£1,000) for streets improvement, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 51 ; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 13.
    I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

    Special Order made by the Hawera County Council altering Riding Boundaries.

    THE following special order, made by the Hawera County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.
    Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921-22, I hereby fix the 31st day of March, 1928, as the date from which the special order shall take effect.

    IN THE MATTER OF THE COUNTIES ACT, 1920.
    Special Order, altering Boundary between Hawera and Ararata Ridings of the County of Hawera.
    THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1920, and amendments thereto, and of all other powers in that behalf it enabling, the Council of the County of Hawera hereby resolves, by way of special order, as follows:—
  1. That the portion of the present division boundary between the Hawera and Ararata Ridings of the County of Hawera, described as commencing from the north-eastern boundary of the Normanby Town District along the railway-line to the southern boundary of the Eltham County, be and the same is hereby revoked.
  2. That the division boundary between the said Hawera and Ararata Ridings shall commence from the southern boundary of the Eltham County at the junction of the One-whaia and Boylan Roads, then along the middle of Boylan Road in a southerly direction to the junction of Austin and Boylan Roads; thence down the middle of Austin Road in a south-easterly direction to its junction with Ketemarae Road (via the deviation known as “Bretts Corner”); thence along the middle of Ketemarae Road in a south-westerly direction to its junction with the Normanby Town District;
