Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block X, Omapere Survey District, Bay of Islands County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
A. R. P. Being portion of
0 0 32 Marutuna A; coloured red.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66078, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of November, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of street in the City of Wellington described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 11·23 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lots 1 to 8, D.P. 4604, of Section 4, Evans Bay District, situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 2213.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70357, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of November, 1927.

Stopping a Government Road in Block II, Ohura Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped:—
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 0 0 Ohura South K2 No. 2 C1; coloured yellow with green stripes. P.W.D. 59057 (sheet 5).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Allocating Cost of certain Proceedings under Section 132 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, Borough of South Invercargill.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day of November, 1927.

Present:
The Right Honourable J. G. Coates, P.C., presiding in Council.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Invercargill Borough Council shall defray all the costs of the Commission appointed under the said Act by a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General dated the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, to inquire and report upon the proposal to exclude a certain area from the Borough of South Invercargill and to include such area in the Borough of Invercargill.
