Land proclaimed as a Road in Block I, Pakawau Survey District, Collingwood County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Pakawau Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 4 acres 2 roods 30 perches.

Being Portion of Sections 1 and 3, Block I, Pakawau Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 670R.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69529, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of October, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Motatau Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 5 acres 0 roods 16·5 perches.

Being portion of Section 33, Motatau No. 2 Block; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 4 acres 3 roods 10 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 33, 35, and 39, Motatau No. 2 Block; coloured green.

All situated in Block XI, Motatau Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22003.)

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61695, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of October, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

Declaring that Portion of the Banks of the Waimana River in Waimana Survey District, Whakatane County, shall be protected.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it is provided by section one hundred and eighty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, that where it is found desirable for the safety or proper maintenance of any public work to protect the banks of, or to alter or divert either wholly or partially, any river, the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, declare that the banks of such river shall be so protected or its course so altered or diverted, and thereupon the protection of the banks or the alteration or diversion of such river shall be a public work within the meaning of the said Act:

And whereas the Whakatane County Council proposes to execute certain works for the purpose of protecting the banks of the Waimana River for the safety and proper maintenance of public roads in the Whakatane County, and has applied for the issue of a Proclamation declaring that portion of the banks of the said river shall be protected:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and eighty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of the banks of the Waimana River (described in the Schedule hereto) shall be protected.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the banks of the Waimana River, in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, commencing at its intersection with the boundary of the Whakatane County at a point in Parekohe 1d, Block VIII, Waimana Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally to a point near the junction of Ruddick’s Road and the Opotiki–Taneatua Main Road opposite Section 6, Block III, Waimana Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64985, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of October, 1927.
