At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
October, 1927.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling
him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doeth hereby delegate to the Council of the County of Whangarei
the powers conferred on him by section five of the Cemeteries
Act, 1908, as to the appointment and removal of trustees for
the cemetery described in the Schedule hereunto; and doeth
declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from
the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

Ngunguru Public Cemetery.

All that area in the North Auckland Land District containing
by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 16 perches, more or less,

WHEREAS by section one hundred and fourteen of the
Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, it is provided that,
notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act or in any
rule of law, where a local authority or public body has been
authorized before the passing of the said Act, or is thereafter
authorized, to borrow money, whether pursuant to a poll of
ratepayers or otherwise howsoever, whether the rate of interest
or the term of years of the loan was or was not specified or
determined, and such money or any part thereof has not
been borrowed, the local authority or public body may, with
the precedent consent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such
money, or such amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at
such rate of interest, or for such term, as may be prescribed
by the Governor-General by Order in Council:

And whereas the Stratford Borough Council has been
authorized to borrow the sum of seven hundred and fifty
pounds for the purpose of providing relief works for unem-
ployed;

And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his prece-
dent consent as required by the above-recited section one
hundred and fourteen, and it is desired that the term for which
the money may be borrowed be twenty-six years, and the
rate of interest payable thereon be not exceeding six per
centum per annum:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him as aforesaid, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that the term
for which the Stratford Borough Council may borrow the
said sum of seven hundred and fifty pounds shall be twenty-
six years, and the rate of interest that may be paid thereon
shall be a rate not exceeding six per centum per annum, and
the said Stratford Borough Council is hereby authorized to
borrow the said sum of seven hundred and fifty pounds
accordingly.

Recreation Reserves in Hawke's Bay Land District brought
under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
October, 1927.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves
for recreation in the Hawke's Bay Land District described
in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby
brought under the operation of, and declared to be subject
to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such
reserves shall hereafter form part of the Farndon Park
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as
a public domain by the Farndon Park Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.

Hawke's Bay Land District.

SECTIONS 64 and 65, Town of West Clive: Area, 2 roods
1 perch.

General may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of
the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments
vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the
