Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged
Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the Proclamation made on the fifteenth day of
October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published
in the Gazette of the twenty-first day of October, then
instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by discharged
soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.-SETTLEMENT LAND.
SECTION 2s, Osborne Settlement: Area, 20 acres 3 roods
25 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of
October, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in
Gordon Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 7 acres
3 roods 24 perches.
Adjoining Sections 4 and 6, Block IX, and Sections 3 and 4,
Block XIII, Gordon Survey District.
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/97/21,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2236, and thereon coloured
green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
October, 1927.

Revoking the Reservation over a Portion of a Scenic Reserve in
the Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the twenty-fifth day of
October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the second day of
November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, certain lands
in the Wellington and Taranaki Land Districts were taken for
the preservation of scenery under the provisions of the Public
Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and
the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto
(being part of the land so taken) is no longer suitable for
scenic purposes, being open land:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by
section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act,
1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes
over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing
by admeasurement 17 acres 1 rood 10 perches, being
Sub. 1 of Section 1, Block VIII, Omara Survey District, and
being that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 13
acres 3 roods 14 perches, bounded on the north-west and
north by other part of Section 1, 2024-7 links; on the north-
east by said other part of Section 1, 1729-6 links; on the south-east
by Pipiriki Road, 812-7 links; and on the southwest
by Whakaihuwaka C 2A Block, 2672-4 links; together
with that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 3 acres
1 rood 36 perches, bounded on the north-west generally by
other part of Section 1, 1857-1 links; on the south-east by
Whakaihuwaka C 3A Block, 747-9 links; and on the south
generally by said other part of Section 1, 1009-2 links: As
the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked
L. and S. 560, and thereon bordered pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of
October, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land
in the Belmont Survey District described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street:-
Portion of Lot 32, D.P. 4259, of Section 77, Block XIV,
Belmont Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District, as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3417/3,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, under No. 2237, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
October, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as roads the land described
in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as
closed the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto.
