ERRATUM.—In Schedule to notice declaring lands in Nelson Land District forfeited, published in Gazette No. 60, dated 25th August, 1927, page 2767, read “Section 12, Block VI, Takaka Survey District” for “Section 12, Block VII, Takaka Survey District.”

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land intersecting the domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said domain.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less, being Section 1290R, Block VII, Rock and Pillar Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by a public road, 106·9 links; towards the east by Sections 52, 55, 58, 2870·6 links; towards the south by other part of closed road, 103 links; and towards the west by Sections 51, 54, and 57, 2857·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked L. and S. 1/116, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
HYDE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 79 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 51, 52, 54, 55, 57, and 58, Block VII, Rock and Pillar Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of October, 1927.

Declaring Crown Land in Hauraki Mining District, Auckland Land District, open for Disposal on Renewable Lease.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any Crown lands within any mining district to be open for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one hundred and fifty-fourth section of the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open on Monday, the twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HAURAKI MINING DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Thames County.—Ohinemuri Survey District.
SECTION 4, Block II: Area, 975 acres. Capital value, £730. Half-yearly rent, £14 12s.
Weighted with £870, valuation for improvements comprising house of eight rooms (built of kauri), hot and cold water; 200 acres of felling and grassing, now reverted, and 110 chains of fencing; repayable in cash or by a deposit of £70, balance payable in twenty-one years by forty-two half-yearly instalments of £31 4s.
Situated ten miles from Hikutaia School, store, and post-office, of which distance four miles is by metalled road; balance formed. Hilly land of inferior quality, resting on clay and rock formation. Approximately 775 acres bush, comprising tawa, rata, rimu, and some kauri, with a dense undergrowth of supplejack, punga, koromiko, and rangiora. Balance of section old kauri clearing, partly grassed, but now gone back. Well watered by the Tairua River and creeks.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of October, 1927.
