WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the formation and construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said parcels of land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection without any fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said parcels of land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the public work or to the taking of the said parcels of land must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice—namely, the 23rd day of August, 1927—to the Clerk of the said county, at the County Offices, Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.

I, JOHN HORACE CECIL HODSON, now or lately called "John Horace Cecil Buliff," of the Town of Blenheim, Shepherd, hereby give public notice that by a deed poll dated thr 13th day of September, 1927, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at the said Town of Blenheim on the 14th day of September, 1927, I did declare that I have renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of “Buliff,” and in lieu thereof have assumed and adopted, and intended thereafter in all deeds, documents, and other writings, and in all actions, suits, and proceedings, as well as in all dealings and transactions, matters, and things whatsoever, and upon all occasions to use and subscribe the surname of “Hodson” in lieu of the said surname of “Buliff” so abandoned as aforesaid.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 17th day of May, 1927, presented to the Honour-able Mr. Justice Adams, a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, by NELSON PERRIN, formerly of Kaeo, Auckland, Settler, but now of Wellington, Salesman, a creditor of the said company, and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court at the Supreme Courthouse, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 4th day of October, 1927, at 10 a.m. in the forenoon, or so soon thereafter as parties can be heard, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of the hearing by himself, or his counsel, for that purpose, and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand (Wanganui District), dated the 3rd day of September, 1927, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £25,000 to £5,000, and the minute (approved by the Court) showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered by the said order the several particulars required by the above Act were registered by the Registrar of Companies, at Wellington, on the 19th day of September, 1927 : And take further notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following :-
“The capital of N.Z. Coal Tar Products, Limited, is from henceforth £5,000, divided into 5,000 shares of £1 each, reduced from £25,000 divided into 25,000 shares of £1 each, of which all have been issued. At the time of the registration of this minute the whole of the said shares have been issued and are to be deemed fully paid up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership existing between the undersigned REGINALD MERVYN HART and STANLEY VIVIAN WATSON, trading as “Hart and Watson,” in business at Pukekohe as Motor Engineers, is dissolved as from the 6th day of September, 1927.

The business of the late partnership will in future be carried on by the said Reginald Mervyn Hart in his own name. All debts and liabilities in respect of the late partnership are payable to and by the said Reginald Mervyn Hart.
