NOTICE is hereby given under section 223 of the Companies Act that at a meeting of shareholders of G. P. Steele and Co., Ltd., held on Thursday, 1st September, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“ That the company goes into liquidation under section 220, clause (c), of the Companies Act.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of LIGHT SERVICE DELIVERY, LIMITED, a company having its registered office at 157 Hereford Street, Christchurch.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held at the registered office of the above-named company on Wednesday, the 24th day of August, 1927, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“ That as the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, it be wound up voluntarily, and that REGINALD FRANCIS FRANKLIN and JOHN EDWARD PURCHAS be appointed joint Liquidators.”
Notice is also given that all claims against the above-named company must be rendered to the Liquidators in duplicate on or before the 10th day of September, 1927, in default of which such claims may be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and BITUO ROADS, LTD. (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above company will be held at the offices of Messrs. Silk, Haworth, and Company, No. 44 Maria Place, Wanganui, on Monday, 19th September, 1927, at 2 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators.

RESOLUTION.
—
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Club at a meeting held on the 30th day of August, 1927, at Waverley, with a recommendation by the Chairman of such club, Mr. J. E. Palmer, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-General in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. J. E. Palmer, the Chairman of such club, and the meeting moved, and Mr. D. Lupton seconded, and it was resolved that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman and the Secretary be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
EGMONT-WANGANUI HUNT CLUB (INCORPORATED).
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said club”), doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the Wanganui Racecourse situated in the District of Wanganui, and known as the Wanganui Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings:—

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette.

In these regulations the words “ bookmaker,” “ trotting club,” and “ race meeting ” shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the racecourse above described while the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely:—
(a) Bookmakers.
(b) Bookmakers’ clerks, bookmakers’ assistants, and bookmakers’ agents.
(c) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any racing or trotting club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated to the New Zealand Racing Conference, the New Zealand Trotting Conference, or the New Zealand Trotting Association.
(d) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or persons who have no lawful visible means of support.
(e) Professional tipsters, persons convicted of housebreaking or pocket-picking, forgery, uttering or possessing counterfeit coin, theft, false pretences, receiving stolen goods, mischief, assault, or any offence or crime of any kind under the Crimes Act, 1908, and also idle and disorderly persons, rogues, and vagabonds, and incorrigible rogues convicted under the Police Offences Act, 1908, and persons convicted of an offence under the Gaming Act, 1908.
Provided always that the Stipendiary Stewards’ Committee appointed by the New Zealand Trotting Conference, upon being satisfied by evidence as to character and otherwise that any person who, by reason of any conviction, comes within the scope of this regulation, should have relief from the effect thereof, may grant exemption to any such person, and may at any time revoke any such exemption without notice to such person, and without assigning any reason for such revocation.
The foregoing regulations of the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Club were made and passed by such club on the 30th day of August, 1927, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

NEW ZEALAND DAIRY-EXPORT CONTROL BOARD.

TO OWNERS AND EXPORTERS OF ALL BUTTER AND CHEESE TO BE EXPORTED FROM NEW ZEALAND.
—
THE above-named Board hereby gives notice that on the 17th day of August, 1927, it resolved and determined to exercise limited control over the export of all butter and cheese which shall from and after the date hereinafter mentioned be exported from New Zealand to the extent and for the purpose of requiring—
(a) That the shipments of all butter and/or cheese so exported shall be regulated by the Board; and
(b) That all butter and/or cheese so exported shall, if shipped to any port on the East Coast of North America (if shipped on consignment) or if shipped on consignment or otherwise to any port in Great Britain or to any port on the Continent of Europe (between Bordeaux and Hamburg, both inclusive), be insured against marine and other losses and risks under the contract or contracts of marine insurance that are from time to time arranged by the Board for the insurance of all such butter and/or cheese against such risks as are specified in such contract or contracts from in factory to destination and during a specified period thereafter. (A copy of the contract of insurance for the time being in force to be always available for inspection at the office of the Board); and
