Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.

Consenting to the Raising of £15,000 (being a further Portion of a Loan of £90,000) by the Horowhenua County Council on the Instalment System, extending over a Period of Thirty-six and a Half Years.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1927.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS section thirty-two of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, provides that where any local authority has heretofore been or shall hereafter be authorized to raise a loan, whether pursuant to a poll of ratepayers, and whether such loan has been raised in part or not, such local authority may, with the consent of the Governor-General in Council, raise such loan or any part thereof upon terms of making the same, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over such period of years, whether in excess of the period mentioned in the poll taken on the proposal for such loan or not, and payable at such times as may be fixed by such local authority, and may permanently appropriate and pledge for the purpose of securing such instalments any special rate already made, or hereafter to be made, or any part of such special rate:
And whereas the Horowhenua County Council has been authorized to borrow the sum of ninety thousand pounds for the construction of main highways, and is now desirous of raising the sum of fifteen thousand pounds, being a further portion of the said loan of ninety thousand pounds:
And whereas application has been made by the aforesaid County Council for the consent of His Excellency the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said fifteen thousand pounds on the instalment system extending over a period of thirty-six and a half years:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Horowhenua County Council raising the sum of fifteen thousand pounds upon terms of making the same, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a period of thirty-six and a half years, and the said Horowhenua County Council is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum of fifteen thousand pounds on these terms.

Declaring the Mokamoka Road, in the Hawke’s Bay County, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1927.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, known as the Mokamoka Road, commencing at its junction with the Elbow to Tutira Road at the south-western corner of Section 3, Block XI, Maungaharuru Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through the said Section 3, Sections 7 (reserve), 4, 2, and 1, Block XI, Maungaharuru Survey District, and Sections 2, 1, and 3, Block VII, Maungaharuru Survey District, and terminating at the northern corner of the said Section 3, Block VII, Maungaharuru Survey District, where it joins the Te Pohue to Tutira Road, being a distance of 6 miles 40 chains, more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69758, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Declaring a Portion of Main Highway in the No. 1 Highway District, Whangaroa County, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1927.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of the main highway described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of gazetting of this Order in Council, become a Government Road.
SCHEDULE.
WHANGAROA–OKAIHAU: All that portion of the Whangaroa-Okaihau Main Highway commencing at Whangaroa Wharf, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction through Whangaroa, and terminating at the Kaeo concrete bridge at the junction of the Kaeo–Mangonui Road, passing through the County of Whangaroa, being a distance of four miles, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 45, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked Jj–Kk.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1927.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.
