At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of August, 1927.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon him by section fifteen of the Finance Act, 1919, and section one hundred and ninety-nine of the Counties Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as “the said sections”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve the erection of a monument as a permanent war memorial, as provided by the said sections, in that part of the Township of Waipiata described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
WAIPAITA WAR MEMORIAL SITE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the Otago Central Railway, 9 links south-east of the intersection of the said railway boundary with the production of the north-western side of the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 192 (of the Village of Komako), Waipiata; thence south-east for a distance of 15·15 links, south-west 15·15 links, north-west 15·15 links, and north-east 15·15 links, to the point of commencement.

Amending Regulations for Trout, Perch, and Tench Fishing in the Southern Acclimatization District.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 22nd day of August, 1927.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Orders in Council dated the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and four, and the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 78 of the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and four, and No. 65 of the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, respectively, regulations were made for trout, perch, and tench fishing in the Southern and Waitaki Acclimatization Districts respectively:
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations in the manner hereinafter described:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said Order in Council of the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and doth hereby amend regulation four of the said regulations of the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and four, by the addition of the following proviso:—
“Provided that in respect of the Waitaki River within the said district the period within which the holder of a license may fish shall, in respect of the ensuing season, be from the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, to the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and in respect of each subsequent season shall be from the first day of October in each year until the thirtieth day of April in the following year; and every such license shall expire on the thirtieth day of April following the date on which it was issued.”

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 22nd day of August, 1927.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the Gazette of the twelfth day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the Ranfurly Park Domain therein described:
And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council dated the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two.

Consenting under the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, to the Wairau River Board borrowing £5,000, by way of Overdraft.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of August, 1927.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wairau River Board borrowing by way of bank overdraft, pursuant to section seven of the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921–22, a sum not exceeding five thousand pounds, provided that the rate of interest payable thereon does not exceed seven per centum per annum.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of main highway described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of gazetting of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.
CHRISTCHURCH–DUNEDIN: All that portion of the Christchurch–Dunedin Main Highway commencing at the north-west corner of Rural Section 4603, Block 3, Leeston Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction and terminating at the Rakaia River, Block 14, Selwyn Survey District, passing through the Counties of Springs, Ellesmere, and Selwyn, being a distance of twenty miles, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 33, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked C–D.
