ERRATA.—In the heading and Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 29th day of January, 1927, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 7, page 342, of the 3rd day of February, 1927, taking land for the purposes of a public school in Block IV, Hawera Survey District, Hawera County, read “Block V” in lieu of “Block IV.”

In the Proclamation dated the 21st day of July, 1927, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 54, page 2523, of the 28th day of July, 1927, taking land for a further portion of the Lawrence-Roxburgh Railway, and for road-diversions in connection therewith, for area “0r. 5·0p.” read “2a. 0r. 5·0p.”

National-endowment Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON-MARLBOROUGH FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Part Provisional State Forest No. 129.

ALL that area containing 498 acres, more or less, and being Section 6, Block XII, Maimai Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west and north-east by Provisional State Forest 129 (Gazette, 1920, p. 2110); towards the south-east by a road along the Little Grey River and Section 7, Block XII, Maimai Survey District; and towards the south-west by Section 5, Block XII, Maimai Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 113/5, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of August, 1927.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Opuatia 9c No. 1 and No. 9a Blocks to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :—

0 1 38·1 Opuatia No. 9a Block; coloured blue.

Situated in Block IX, Onewhero Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1069, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2230, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of August, 1927.
