ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.
——
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,
the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
Loan of £2,500.
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,500 (two thousand five hundred
pounds) authorized to be raised by the Onehunga Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for a refuse-destructor,
the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 1/16th of 1d. in the pound on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the Borough of Onehunga, and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

Loan of £2,000.
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,000 (two thousand pounds) authorized
to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for drainage advances, the said Onehunga
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
5/64ths of 1d. in the pound on the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of
the Borough of Onehunga, excluding the area recently added
from the One Tree Hill Road Board, and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Loan of £6,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking
fund on a loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the
Mount Eden Borough Council under the Local Authorities
Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, for public
works undertaken for the relief of unemployment, the said
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one half-
penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable
property in the Borough of Mount Eden, and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

Loan of £10,000.
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking
fund on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the
Mount Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act, for the construction of permanent drainage work within
the Borough of Mount Eden, the said Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of three-farthings in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of
Mount Eden, and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be
payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
