At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of
July, 1927.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the Waipara County Council stopping the road described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be
stopped: 10 acres 1 rood 30 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 14389, 20627, 23230,
25463, 26340, 36818, Blocks III and VII, Stonyhurst
Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 1982.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69154,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Directing the Sale of Land in Block XV, Puniu Survey
District, under the Public Works Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1908,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto,
such land being no longer required for the public work for
which it was taken.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold:
4 acres.

Being portion of Tokanui C No. 12A, 14A, and 14B. Situated
in Block XV, Puniu Survey District. (S.O. 24490.)

In the Auckland Land District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69281,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged red.

of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto,

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Massey-
Birduood Domain.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

George Easterbrook,
William Robert Ernst,
Alfred Ernest Grandfield,
Arthur John Knight,
Colin Macdonald,
Robert McKeown,
James Orrock,
George Wishart Sinton, and
Walton George Waugh

to be the Massey-Birdwood Domain Board, having control of
the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Saturday, the tenth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-seven, at three o’clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Massey-Birdwood Schoolroom as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

MASSEY-BIRDWOOD DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND
DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 1 and 25, Block XIV, Waitemata Survey District:

the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of
July, 1927.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Manukau County Council is a body of
persons having power to lease lands held in trust,
reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested
the Governor-General in Council to declare it to be a leasing
authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases
Act, 1908:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such
request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf con-
ferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Manukau
County Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of
the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.
