Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Mangahao scheme); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 2 roods 2·2 perches.
Being portion of Section 2 of Subdivision X (Manchester Block R.D.). (S.O. 2227.) Situated in Block II, Gorge Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69145, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of July, 1927.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XIII, Taramarama Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Ruapapa Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the road desired to be constructed over Block XIII, Taramarama Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Ruapapa Road—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the Ruapapa Road in Section 5, Block XIII, Taramarama Survey District, and near the eastern boundary of the said section, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Section 5, River Bank Reserve, Kahotea East No. 2, Kahotea West 2b, Sections 4 and 3, River Bank Reserve, and Kahotea West 1c 2, Block XIII, Taramarama Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said road near the western boundary of the said Section Kahotea West 1c 2, being a distance of about 1 mile 77·35 chains, more or less, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses.
All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69453, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A—B.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of July, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of waterpower (Waikaremoana scheme); and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart: 3 acres 0 roods 21 perches.
Being part Forest Reserve, situated in Block XIX, Waikaremoana Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1285, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67023, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of July, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in the Town of Balclutha described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 10 perches.
Being portion of Argyle Street, Township of Helensborough. Adjoining or passing through Allotment 1, Block V, and Allotments 1 and 2, Block VI, Township of Helensborough, being part Section 27, Block XVII, Town of Balclutha.
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69217, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of July, 1927.
