Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

WHARAWHARA 5A Block, Mangatoro Survey District: Approximate area, 378 acres 1 rood 38 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of July, 1927.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Provisional State Forest No. 79.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 750 acres, more or less, being part Whirinaki No. 1, Section 3, situate in Blocks XV and XVI, Weao Survey District. Bounded towards the west by provisional State forest as described in Gazette, 1920, page 2119; on the north by the edge of the bush; towards the north-east by provisional State forest, as described in Gazette, 1920, page 2108; and towards the south-east by Crown land. As the same is more particularly delineated on Plan No. 47/15, deposited in Head Office of the State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (L. and S., Auckland Plan 5422, red.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of July, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 24·7 perches.
