Land Surveyors’ Examination, September, 1927, Australia and New Zealand.

IT is hereby notified, for general information, that the Surveyors Board, in conjunction with the Australian Surveyors Boards will conduct an examination of candidates for licenses to survey, commencing at 10 a.m. on Monday, 26th September, 1927, at Wellington.
Candidates are notified that their applications, on the proper form, must reach the Secretary of the Board not later than Thursday, 15th September, and that the examination fee of £1 1s. must be paid at the same time to the Secretary, from whom examination regulations, application forms, and other particulars may be obtained. Candidates desiring to sit in other centres than Wellington must forward a double fee of £2 2s. ; only those completing may do this.
At this examination, candidates sitting for the first time will be accepted, as well as those completing former sittings.

I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Waihi Spiritualists Society (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

Lease of Native Land by Public Tender.

WRITTEN tenders will be received at the office of the Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board at Gisborne up to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 3rd August, 1927, for a lease of the land called Paeroa 2π 2c Block, containing 13 acres 3 roods 2 perches, situated in the County of Wairoa. The lease will be for a term of fifteen years commencing on the 10th day of August, 1927, with right of renewal for a further term of fifteen years, and with right of compensation for improvements not exceeding £5 per acre at the end of either term. The rental for the first term shall be the rental tendered, but shall not be less than an upset rental of £5 per annum. The rental for the second term shall be 5 per cent. of the then Government unimproved value, but not less than the rental for the first term.
Each tender must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked on the outside “ Tender for lease of Paeroa 2π 2c ” ; and must be addressed to the Registrar, Native Land Court, Gisborne. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
