In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of DELMONICO LIMITED.
BY an order made by the Honourable Mr. Justice Reed in
the above matter, dated the 24th day of June, 1927,
on the petition of R. and W. Hellaby, Limited, of Auckland,
it was ordered that the said DELMONICO LIMITED be wound up
by this Court under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908,
and that the costs of and incidental to the petition be £7 7s. and
disbursements as fixed by the Registrar.

BOROUGH OF NORTHCOTE.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the North-
cote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one thousand one hundred pounds sterling
(£1,100) resolved to be raised by the Northcote Borough
Council as an addition to the Drainage Additional Loan of
£11,000 under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
the completion of the drainage scheme within the drainage
area of the Borough of Northcote, the said Northcote Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth
of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of
all rateable property of the special-rating (drainage) area of
the borough of Northcote, and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-
six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of DUNEDIN–WANAKA MOTORS, LIMITED.
THE following resolution was duly passed on 20th June,
1927, in manner provided by section 168, subsection (6),
of the Companies Act, 1908.
It was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily
under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that
JOHN HENRY ALOYSIUS McKEEFRY, of Dunedin, Public
Accountant, be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes
of such winding-up, and that an entry of this minute be made
in the minute-book of the company and be signed by all the
shareholders.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of THE UNION ENGINEERING COMPANY, LIMITED
(in liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the above company, on the
20th day of June, 1927, passed an extraordinary
resolution that the company go into voluntary liquidation by
reason of its inability to meet its obligations, and on the
20th day of June, 1927, the undersigned was appointed
Liquidator.
All claims against the company should be proved within
two months of the date of liquidation, and a meeting of the
creditors will be held at the office of the undersigned at 11 a.m.
on Tuesday, 19th day of July, at 58–59 Endeans Buildings,
Queen Street, Auckland.

In the matter if the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of THE ECLIPSE GOLD CLAIMS, LIMITED.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above company, held at the registered office, 20
Brandon Street, Wellington, on Monday, the 6th day of June,
1927, the following special resolution was duly carried :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
ARTHUR WILLIAM PRESS and HENRY ARTHUR GOLD, be, and
are hereby, appointed Liquidators.”
At a further extraordinary general meeting, held on
Wednesday, the 22nd day of June, 1927, the foregoing special
resolution was duly confirmed.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of THE PETHERICK PATENT ADVERTISING SYSTEM, LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting
of shareholders of the above-named company, held on
Thursday, 30th June, 1927, the following extraordinary
resolution was passed :—
“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company
that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business,
and that it is advisable to wind up the same accordingly, and
that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that HERBERT
Moss NEWTON, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is
hereby appointed Liquidator for that purpose.”
All persons having claims against the company are re-
quested to lodge them with the undersigned, not later than
Friday, 15th July, 1927.

I, MELVILLE HUIA AIKEN, M.B., Bac. Surg., University
of New Zealand, now residing in Wellington, hereby
give notice that I intend applying on the 1st August next to
have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion
of New Zealand ; and that I have deposited the evidence of
my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at
Wellington.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of DELMONICO LIMITED (in liquidation).
THE creditors of the above-named company are required,
within fourteen days of the publication hereof, to send
their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts
and claims and the names and addresses of their solicitors
(if any) to GUY NORMAN MORRIS, Esquire, of Auckland, the
official Liquidator of the said company, and if so required by
notice in writing from the said official Liquidator are, by their
solicitors, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at
the Supreme Court at Auckland at such time as shall be
specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be
excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before
such debts are proved.
Monday the 1st day of August, 1927, at 10 o’clock in the
forenoon, at the Supreme Court at Auckland is appointed
for hearing and adjudicating upon the debts and claims.
