Revoking the Setting-apart of Lands for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Gisborne Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the nineteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the Gazette of the tenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, setting apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the area in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—WAIAPU COUNTY.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section 1, Block III, Tokomaru Survey District, bounded on the west by the Main East Coast Road, and on the north, east, and south by the Maungahauini Block and the Maungahauini Stream; as the same is more particularly delineated on Crown plan No. 3432, deposited in the Gisborne District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July, 1927.

Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourteenth day of that month, the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared to be a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 3, Block I, Kaitieke Survey District: Area, 23 acres 17 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July, 1927.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY-OTAGO FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part State Forest No. 2 (Hanmer Plantation Extension).
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 21 acres 0 roods 22 perches, being Section 29, Hanmer Plains Reserve, Square 82, situated in Block II, Lyndon Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Section 30, Block II aforesaid, 2089 links; towards the east by Plantation Reserve 3819 (Gazette, 1911, page 265), 1014 links; towards the south and west by a road. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 129/21, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of June, 1927.

Part State Forest, No. 75 (Greenvale Plantation Extension).
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 226 acres 0 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Section 12, Block XIII, Greenvale Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Run 212a (State Forest, Gazette, 1925, page 611) 6520·2 links; towards the east by Sections 19, 13, 21, and 15, Block V, Greenvale Survey District, 2348·0 and 6184·3 links; towards the south-west and west by a road. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/13, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 21 acres, more or less, being Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6L 2B No. 4, situated in Block VI, Tarawera Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the west and north by Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6L 2B No. 5 (State forest, Gazette, 1925, page 239), again towards the north by Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6L 2B No. 3; towards the east by the Rotorua–Wairoa Road, and towards the south by Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6L 2B No. 1: As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 38/26, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
