the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the
Dunedin City Council to permit the laying-off of the street
coloured burnt sienna and edged pink on the plan referred to
in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but
not less than forty feet, within the area described in the said
Schedule, it being inexpedient to lay off a street of a width of
sixty-six feet within such area.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Otago Land District, City of
Dunedin, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 21Β·4
perches, more or less, being part Section 49, Block IX, North
Harbour and Blueskin District. As the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67011, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington,
in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged green.

Authorizing the laying-off of a Street in the City of Dunedin, of
a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this 17th day
of January, 1927.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the
Dunedin City Council to permit the laying-off of the street
coloured pink on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto
of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty
feet, within the area described in the said Schedule, it being
inexpedient to lay off a street of a width of sixty-six feet
within such area.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Otago Land District, City of
Dunedin, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 3 roods
25 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections 6 and 14,
Block I, Anderson’s Bay District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67804,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged green.

Increasing the Number of Members of the Dunedin Fire Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of
January, 1927.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of section
thirteen of the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, application
has been made by the Dunedin Fire Board to have the total
number of members of the said Board increased by two :

And whereas it is expedient to grant such request :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby increase by two the total number of members
of the Dunedin Fire Board, one of such additional members to be elected by the contributory local authority and one by the
insurance companies carrying on business within the Dunedin
Fire District, such increase to take effect from the biennial
election of members of the said Board to be held in February,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
