Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land situate in the North Auckland Land District, being part Pakiri No. 1 Block, containing by admeasurement 685 acres, more or less, being Lot 2 on deposited plan, at Auckland, No. 16637, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 61, folio 85, Auckland Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of January, 1927.

Altering and redefining Boundaries of Hurunui Rabbit District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section thirty-eight of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter and redefine the boundaries of the Hurunui Rabbit District (being a district for the purposes of Part II of the said Act) by revoking the Schedule to the Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, at page 459, altering and redefining the boundaries of the said district, and by substituting the following in lieu thereof.

SCHEDULE.

HURUNUI RABBIT DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Land Districts of Nelson and Canterbury, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the summit of the Brunner Range due south of the confluence of the Eight-mile Stream and the Buller River, and proceeding thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost point of Lake Tennyson; thence along the western shore of that lake, and down the right bank of the Clarence River to the track over Jack’s Pass; thence along that track, passing over Jack’s Pass to the Hanmer Plains Main Road, and along that road to the Waiau-ua River, and down that river to the sea; thence along the seashore to a point 15 chains from the southern banks of the Black Birch Creek; thence following the boundaries of the Motunau Rabbit-proof Fencing District to the sea, and including Rural Sections 9886, 9888, and 10585; thence south-westerly along the seacoast to the Waipara River, and up that river to its source, along a right line to Block Hill, and along the southern summit of the Hurunui watershed to the Southern Alps near Harper’s Pass; thence generally along the eastern summits of the watersheds of the Ohaura, Grey, and Inangahua Rivers to the point of commencement.

Regulations under the Fruit Control Act, 1924.—Notice No. Ag. 2638.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Fruit Control Act, 1924 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Orders in Council mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and doth make the following regulations in lieu thereof for the purposes of the said Act.

REGULATIONS.

  1. THE maximum fees payable to members of the New Zealand Fruit-export Control Board, constituted under Part I of the said Act, shall be as follows:—

Chairman .. .. .. £100 per annum.
Other members .. .. .. £50 ,,

Provided that when the Chairman or any other member is engaged on the business of the Board in the Dominion, other than that connected with ordinary Board meetings, the following additional fees shall be payable:—

Chairman .. .. .. £2 2s. per diem.
Other members .. .. .. £1 1s. ,,

  1. The maximum rate of travelling-allowance payable to members of the said Board while travelling in the Dominion shall be £1 per diem, plus actual locomotion expenses.

  2. The charge payable by way of levy on all fruit produced in a district in which Part I of the said Act is for the time being in operation and intended for export, shall be 1d. per case.

  3. Any moneys payable under clause 3 hereof shall be paid to the Board immediately upon the shipment of the fruit from the Dominion.

Amending the Apportionment of Representation on the Wanganui—Rangitikei Electric-power Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke, as from the date of the next general election of the representatives of the constituent district consisting of portion of the Waitotara County, on the Wanganui—Rangitikei Electric-power Board, so much of the Order in Council dated the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 103 of the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, as refers to the said constituent district, and doth hereby determine as from the aforesaid date that the said portion of the Waitotara County, the Waverley Town District, and so much of the Patea County as is within the Wanganui—Rangitikei Electric-power District shall be a combined district, and that the said portion of Waitotara County shall be the principal local authority in that district for the purposes of the said Act; and doth also determine that the said combined district shall be entitled to one representative on the said Board.
