Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a Further Portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Parts Rangitaiki and Awakeri Sections) and for Road-diversions in connection therewith and Road Approaches thereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77, of the eighteenth day of the same month, taking land for a further portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (parts Rangitaiki and Awakeri Sections) and for road-diversions in connection therewith and road approaches thereto as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, of the eleventh day of the same month, defining the middle-line of a portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Hutt Lower Valley Duplication) as affects all lands between the point of commencement, marked seven miles ten chains, and a point on Waterloo Road in the Borough of Lower Hutt marked nine miles seventy-three chains, with the exception of all lands already taken by Proclamation for the said railway or for road or street approaches or diversions in connection therewith.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of June, 1927.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.


SCHEDULE.

WAIPAOA 5A 1 Block, Tuahu Survey District: Approximate area, 613 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of June, 1927.

Authorizing the Exchange of a Reserve in North Auckland Land District for other Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of June, 1927.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twelve of the Public Reserves and Domains
