In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the
matter of THE BRITISH BUILDING BLOCK (CANTERBURY
AND WESTLAND), LIMITED, a company with limited
liability, duly registered under the provisions of the
said Act.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 20th day of May,
1927, the following resolutions were carried:β
(1) "That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this
meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its
liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advis-
able to wind up the firm, and accordingly that a
Liquidator be appointed for the purposes of the
winding-up."
(2) "That Mr. A. O. WILKINSON, of Christchurch, Public
Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liqui-
dator for the purposes of the winding-up."

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the
above-named company will be held at 117 Custom-
house Quay, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 27th day of June,
1927, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of having the account of
the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-up
has been conducted and the property of the company dis-
posed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given
by the Liquidator, and also of determining by resolution the
manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the
company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

named company are required, on or before the 24th
day of June, 1927, to send their names and addresses and
the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and
addresses of their solicitors (if any), to THOMAS FORSYTH,
Public Accountant, 102 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, and
if so required by notice in writing by the said Liquidator, are
themselves or by their solicitor to come in and prove their
said debts or claims, at such time and place as shall be
specified in such notice, and in default thereof they will be
excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before
such debts are proved.
