4B. Special Wednesday Fares to Wellington (Lambton).—Special return tickets will be issued to Wellington (Lambton) from the undermentioned stations by the 12.48 p.m. train from Upper Hutt and the 1.5 p.m. train from Waterloo and later trains on Wednesdays only :—

These special return tickets will be available for return on the day of issue or following day only.

Albert Channel.—Decreased Depth reported.
Position.—Lat. 35° 13′ S., long. 174° 15′ E. (approx.).
Details.—It is reported that there is considerably less water than charted in the Albert Channel.
The note “Less water than charted repd. (1927)” is to be inserted under the name “Albert Channel” on the chart.

Details.—This light has been permanently discontinued and the entire structure has been removed from its site.

Notice to Mariners No. 33 of 1927.
NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—WEST COAST.—MANUKAU HARBOUR.—SOUTH HEAD SIGNAL-STATION.
Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 17th May, 1927.
Old Flagstaff removed.—Steel Lattice-work Flagstaff with Cross-yard installed.
Position.—Lat. 37° 05′ S., long. 174° 32′ E. (approx.).
Details.—Owing to local landslips the signal-station flagstaff with yard has been dismantled. In future all signals will be exhibited from a steel lattice-work flagstaff with a cross-yard which has been erected at a position 065° 200 ft. from the site of the old flagstaff.
Remarks.—The steel lattice-work flagstaff is situated on the existing transit line (069½°) of the main lighted leading beacons.
