ERRATA.—In Gazette No. 24, of the 28th April, 1927, at page 1143, Surveyors licensed, “James, Mart, of Inglewood,” should read “James, Mark, of Inglewood.”
In Gazette No. 29, of the 12th May, 1927, at page 1446, Surveyors licensed, “McKinlay, James Matthew,” should read “McKinlay, John Matthew.”
Amending a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land as and for Provisional State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the Gazette of the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), certain Crown lands in the North Auckland and Otago Land Districts were set apart as and for provisional State forests in terms of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918 :
And whereas in the said Proclamation an error was made in the description of provisional State Forest No. 37, situated in Blocks II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII, Rimu Survey District, Otago Land District, by including therein an area of 2,850 acres which is portion of the Clutha River Trust Endowment, and it is desirable that the error should be rectified :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby amend the said Proclamation (in so far as it relates to the provisional State forest hereinbefore referred to) by substituting the description set forth in the Schedule hereto for the description of the said provisional State forest set forth in the said Proclamation.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Provisional State Forest No. 37.
ALL that area of land in the Otago Land District, situated in Blocks II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, Rimu Survey District, containing 44,630 acres, more or less, and being bounded as follows: Commencing at a point being the intersection of the boundary between Blocks I and IV, Rimu Survey District, and its junction with Mokoreta Survey District boundary; thence by a right line to Trig. Station K, Mount Pye; thence by a right line in a north-easterly direction to the junction of the south-western boundary of Pt. Run 127 with the Wairepo Stream; thence in a south-easterly and easterly direction generally by the boundary of the aforementioned Pt. Run 127 to the Catlin’s River, thence in a southerly direction generally by Catlin’s River to its junction with the north-eastern corner of Block VIII, Rimu Survey District, and by the eastern boundary of the said block to a public road forming its southern boundary; thence generally in a westerly direction by the aforesaid boundary of Block VIII, by the southern boundary of Blocks IX and XII to the easternmost corner of Section 4 of the last-mentioned block, by the north-eastern, northern, and western boundaries of the aforesaid Section 4, the north-eastern, northern, and western boundaries of Section 5 (Scenic Reserve), Block XII, and the western boundary of Section 4 aforesaid to its junction with a public road, and by the said road forming the northern boundary of Section 3 (E.R.) and Sections 2 and 1, across a public road, and by the western boundary of the aforesaid Section 1 to the Tahakopa River, by a right line across the said river, and by the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Block XI, Rimu Survey District, and the western boundary of Blocks X and IV to the place of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on Plan No. 218/7, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
