(a) Order in Council dated the 21st day of December, 1909, and published in Gazette of the 22nd December, 1909, declaring Section 1, Block V, Town of Rotorua, to be subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.
(b) Order in Council dated the 31st day of January, 1910, and published in Gazette of the 3rd February, 1910, vesting the control of Section 1, Block V, Town of Rotorua, in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.
(c) Order in Council dated the 13th day of June, 1910, and published in Gazette of the 16th June, 1910, declaring Section 3, Block V, Town of Rotorua, to be subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.
(d) Order in Council dated the 11th day of July, 1910, and published in Gazette of the 14th July, 1910, vesting the control of Section 3, Block V, Town of Rotorua, in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one of section eighty-two of the Destitute Persons Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby declare the following society to be a charitable institution within the meaning of the said Act.

Regulations as to Fees and Allowances for Members of the Local Government Loans Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of April, 1927.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called "the said Act"), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations for the purposes of section fifteen of the said Act.

REGULATIONS.
INTERPRETATION.

  1. "BOARD" means the Local Government Loans Board constituted in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
    "Member" means a member of the Board who is not an officer of the Public Service.
    "Business of the Board" means any business authorized by the said Act to be performed by a member and transacted by such member pursuant only to a resolution of the Board, and includes, where not otherwise mentioned, a meeting of the Board or any committee thereof.
    TRAVELLING-EXPENSES.
  2. There shall be paid to members of the Board all travelling and locomotion expenses (including the cost of sleeping-berths on trains and deck-accommodation on steamers) actually and reasonably expended by them in attending meetings of the Board, or of any committee thereof, or in transacting any business of the Board.
    Fees.
  3. There shall be paid to each member of the Board for each day or part of a day on which he is travelling or occupied in connection with the business of the Board a fee of £2 2s.
    TRAVELLING-ALLOWANCE.
  4. (1) There shall be paid to each member of the Board for each day or part of a day on which he is travelling in connection with the business of the Board as a travelling-allowance for personal expenses the sum of £1 5s.
    (2) When a member leaves and returns to his usual place of residence on the same day, fee and actual and reasonable expenses only shall be paid.
    CERTIFICATE.
  5. No claim of any member of the Board for fees or travelling allowance or expenses shall be recognized unless such claim sets out the days claimed for, and is accompanied by the certificate of such member stating that on or during the days claimed for he was engaged in connection with the business of the Board, and incurred the expenses set out in the claim. Such certificate shall be in the following form:—
    I, [Full name, occupation, and address] hereby certify that I was engaged in connection with the business of the Local Government Loans Board on the days shown in this voucher, and that I incurred the travelling-expenses indicated in the claim.

    The Eastern Side of Portion of Queen Street, in the Borough of Otahuhu, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

    ORDER IN COUNCIL.
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of April, 1927.

    IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Otahuhu Borough Council on the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:—
    "That the Otahuhu Borough Council, being the local authority having control of Queen Street, in the Borough of Otahuhu, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that part of the eastern side of the said street fronting Lots forty-nine, fifty, and part of Lot forty-eight on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 12319, being part of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 267, folio 154, Auckland Registry";
    subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Queen Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
    SCHEDULE.
    The eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Otahuhu, known as Queen Street, abutting on Lots 49 and 50 and part 48, D.P. 12319, being part of Fairburn's claim 269A. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68381, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
