Land taken for the more effective carrying-out of the Drainage or other Works authorized by the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, in Block I, Whakatane Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the more effective carrying-out of the drainage or other works authorized by the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby lay out and take as a road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 39·68 perches. Adjoining or passing through Section 35, Ohura Suburban.
Situated in Block V, Ohura Survey District. (S.O. 6000.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68426, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 4 acres 2 roods 29 perches. Adjoining or passing through Sections 51, 52, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, and 42.
Situated in Block VII, Rock and Pillar Survey District (Otago R.D.).
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68186, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
