Land in the County of Hawke’s Bay set apart for the Purposes of the Wellington–Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purposes of the Wellington–Napier Railway:
And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor-General may at any time, by Proclamation, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Wellington–Napier Railway near Napier; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 2 roods 0·34 perches.
Being Sections 658 to 662, and 664 to 666, Suburbs of Napier. (S.O. 1193, red.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39183, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of April, 1927.

Land in Westland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation approved in Executive Council, declare that any national-endowment land disposed of under the Land Act, 1924, or the Land Act, 1908, and held under lease or license by any person who is competent to acquire land under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, shall cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, which is so held on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 2829, Block IV, Wataroa Survey District: Area, 341 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of April, 1927.
