THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that by minute dated the 28th
day of March, 1927, the Wellington Catering Company,
Limited, a company duly incorporated in New Zealand under
the provisions of the above Act went into voluntary
liquidation as at the said date. And further, that by the
said minute CHARLES STUART FALCONER, Woodward Street,
Wellington, Public Accountant, was appointed Liquidator
of the said company.

WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of
all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waipukurau
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waipukurau
Borough Unemployment Relief Loan of £500, 1927, authorized
to be raised by the Waipukurau Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of Reservoir Road
Extension, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of sixty-three one-thousandths (63/1000ths) of a penny
in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the
Borough of Waipukurau, and that such special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TE AROHA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by section 19 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1926, the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby resolves as fol-
lows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £1,200 authorized to be raised by the Te
Aroha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, being
an amount equal to 10 per cent. on the original loan of £12,000
raised by the said Council for the purpose of constructing and
improving, including forming, grading, metalling, bitumen-
sealing, channelling, bridging, and culverting the various and
several streets within the Borough of Te Aroha, and for the
purpose of road-making machinery for the before-mentioned
street works (£1,150) and for the erection of a ladies’ rest-room
(£50), such original loan having been found insufficient to
complete the said works, the said Te Aroha Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in
the pound sterling upon the rateable value (annual rental) of
all rateable property of the Borough of Te Aroha, and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the cur-
rency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
July in each an every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

INVERCARGILL BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTIONS STRIKING SPECIAL RATES.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Inver-
cargill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
Unemployment Loan of £11,700.
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £11,700 authorized to be raised by the
Invercargill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of carrying out certain public works for the
relief of unemployment, the said Invercargill Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal
one five eight (.158d.) of a penny in the pound upon the rate-
able value of all the rateable property of the Borough of Inver-
cargill, comprising the whole of the Borough of Invercargill,
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the first day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period as prescribed by the
Governor-General by Order in Council, or until the loan is
fully paid off.
Sewerage Redemption Loan (1926) of £18,600.
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £18,600 authorized to be raised by the
Invercargill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for paying off £15,000 of the Sewerage Loan No. 3 ; £1,800 of
the Sewerage Loan No. 4 ; and £1,800 of the Sewerage Loan
No. 5, which fall due on the 1st July, 1926, the said Invercargill
Borough Council hereby makes a levies a special rate of decimal
two four two (.242d.) of a penny in the pound upon the rate-
able value of all the rateable property of the Borough of Inver-
cargill, comprising the whole of the Borough of Invercargill,
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period as prescribed by the
Governor-General by Order in Council, or until the loan is
fully paid off.
East Invercargill Redemption Loan of £5,500.
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £5,500 authorized to be raised by the
Invercargill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for paying off the East Invercargill Loan of £5,500, falling due
on the 31st day of December, 1926, the said Invercargill
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
decimal nought seven two (.072d.) of a penny in the pound
upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the
Borough of Invercargill, comprising the whole of the Borough
of Invercargill, and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period as prescribed by the
Governor-General by Order in Council, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

meeting of shareholders of the Alexandra Herald

March, 1927, at 7.30 p.m., the following resolution was duly
carried :—
That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, con-
tinue its business, and that it go into voluntary liquidation,
