Result of Land Surveyors’ Examination, March, 1927.

AT the examination of candidates for a surveyor’s license
held in March, 1927, under the Surveyors’ Institute
and Board of Examiners Act, 1908, and conducted by the
Federated Surveyors’ Boards of Australia and New Zealand,
twenty-two candidates presented themselves in New Zealand
to complete their examinations.

Sixteen of these candidates succeeded in obtaining a pass,
as under :—

Election of Member of North Auckland Land Board.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,

IN accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the
Land Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder,
I, Henry James Lowe, Commissioner of Crown Lands for the
North Auckland Land District, as Returning Officer for the
election of a member of the North Auckland Land Board, do
hereby give notice that the following person has been duly
nominated :—

Hunt, William Thomas,

and I do hereby declare that William Thomas Hunt is duly
elected a member of the North Auckland Land Board as from
the 24th May, 1927, he being the only person nominated.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by
resolution of the Auckland Land Board, the said lands have reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land
Act, 1924, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments.
