Mining Privilege to be struck off the Register.—Notice under the Mining Act, 1926.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, that the mining privilege mentioned in the Schedule hereto will, unless sufficient cause be shown to the contrary within a period of three months from the date hereof, be struck off the Register.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Tariff Commission appointed to report on the revision of the Customs tariff will commence its sittings at Wellington, in the office of the Comptroller of Customs, Customs Building, Waterloo Quay, at 10 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 11th April, 1927, for the purpose of hearing evidence from persons desiring to make representations respecting the Customs tariff.

It is desired that persons intending to appear should previously notify the Chairman of the Tariff Commission at the above-mentioned address, and should arrange with the Comptroller of Customs as to the time at which the evidence will be heard,
