HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £16,000, authorized to be raised by the Hamilton Borough Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and section 24 of the Health Act, 1920, to be expended in the work of providing a piped drain to carry to the Waikato River effluents at present being discharged in the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream by the septic tanks of the Hamilton Borough Council, including the cost of all necessary labour, materials, plant, tools, engineer’s fees, supervision, plans, and compensation to owners of property, the said Hamilton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth (1/5th) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hamilton, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period not exceeding 36½ years or until the loan is fully paid off.

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) thereunto enabling, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Masterton County Stronvar-Ngahape Special-rating District Loan of £1,500, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling approximately two miles and a half of the Stronvar Road and approximately three-quarters of a mile of the Ngahape Road in the Wainuioru Riding, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen-thirty-seconds (13/32nds) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Stronvar-Ngahape Special-rating District, being more particularly described in the Schedule at the foot hereof, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.


SCHEDULE.
