BOROUGH OF MOUNT EDEN.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Borough of Mount Eden hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £8,000, authorized to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, for public works undertaken for the relief of unemployment, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
