MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling Plantation Road and portions of River Road and Saunders' Road, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Horahora No. 2 Special-rating Area, comprising all that area in the Matamata County included within the following boundaries: Commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 2 of Section 11 of A.B., towards the north by the southern boundary of school site and its production across a road, towards the north-west and north generally by Lot 1 of 12 of A.B. and parts Sections 1 and 8, Block IV, Maungatautari Survey District, a line crossing a road and other part of the said Section 8 to the Waikato River ; towards the east by the Waikato River to the Waitete Stream ; towards the south by the said Waitete Stream to north-eastern boundary of Maungatautari part 3A 5J, towards the south-west and south-east by the said Maungatautari part 3A 5J ; towards the south-west by the Waipa County to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Maungatautari part 3A 5E ; towards the north-west, south-west, and south-east, and again towards the south-west and south-east by the said part 3A 5E to the Waipa County boundary; towards the south-west by the Waipa County boundary to its intersection with the western boundary of Maungatautari 3A 5F; towards the west by Maungatautari 3A 5A 7 and 3A 5A 3 ; towards the north-west by part 3A 5G 1 and part 3A 5G 3 ; towards the west by the said 3A 5G 3 ; towards the north and west by Maungatautari 2c 2 ; towards the north-east by other part of the said 3A 5G 1 and Maungatautari 3A 3 ; towards the north-west and south-west by Maungatautari 3A 3 ; again towards the north-west and south-west by Section 8, Horahora East, and towards the west generally by Lot 1 of 11 of Horahora A.B. to the point of commencement: And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

FEATHERSTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Featherston Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Featherston Borough Street Improvement Loan of £2,000, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Featherston Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of street and footpath improvements and erecting a building to house plant and material, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-eighths (7/8ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Featherston, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Dargaville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000), authorized to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of acquiring an additional area of land, approximately 2,700 acres, adjacent to the present water-catchment area, near Kaihu, for the purpose of converting the said land into a water-catchment area, fencing the same, and doing all things necessary to ensure an increased and uncontaminated water-supply for the Borough of Dargaville, contingencies, first year's interest, and sinking fund, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-seven-thirty-seconds (27/32nds) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Dargaville, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
