To be Director of Agriculture, Rarotonga, from 1st April, 1926.

To be Headmaster, Arorangi School, Rarotonga, from 1st February, 1927.

To be Assistant Teacher, Oneroa School, Mangaia, from 1st March, 1927.

To be Assistant Mistress, Rarotonga, from 1st March, 1927.

To be Assistant Mistress, Rarotonga, from 1st March, 1927.

His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Military Forces.

ROYAL N.Z. ARTILLERY.

Captain A. de T. Nevill is appointed Staff Captain, Artillery, General Headquarters, vice Lieutenant C. S. J. Duff, and retains the appointment of Acting Inspecting Ordnance Officer. Dated 18th October, 1926.

Captain A. de T. Nevill relinquishes the appointment of Acting Inspecting Ordnance Officer. Dated 11th January, 1927.

Captain W. Ivory relinquishes the appointment of Officer in Charge Harbour Defences and Officer Commanding R.N.Z.A. Detachment, Northern Command. Dated 15th November, 1926, and is seconded to the N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps as Inspecting Ordnance Officer and Acting Ordnance Mechanical Engineer. Dated 12th January, 1927.

Lieutenant C. S. J. Duff relinquishes the appointment of Staff Captain, Artillery, General Headquarters. Dated 18th October, and is appointed Officer Commanding R.N.Z.A. Cadre (60-pr. and Coast), Northern Command. Dated 15th November, 1926.

1st N.Z. MOUNTED RIFLES (CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY.)

Lieutenant C. R. Cresswell from the Canterbury Regiment to be Lieutenant. Dated 15th February, 1927.

2ND N.Z. MOUNTED RIFLES (QUEEN ALEXANDRA'S WELLINGTON WEST COAST).

Honorary Lieutenant and Bandmaster G. L. Buckley to be Honorary Captain and Bandmaster. Dated 4th February, 1927.

N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS.
Central Depot.

2nd Lieutenant R. Wiltshire to be Lieutenant. Dated 3rd February, 1927.

THE N.Z. INFANTRY.

The Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly's Own).

Eugene Dumont Robins to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is seconded for duty with the 2nd C Battalion. Dated 7th February, 1927.

The North Auckland Regiment.

Major C. S. White, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 3. Dated 7th February, 1927.

The Waikato Regiment.

The undermentioned to be 2nd Lieutenants, 1st Battalion. Dated 7th February, 1927:

The Wellington Regiment.

Lieutenant C. J. .W. Parsons, 2nd C Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 7th February, 1927.

The appointments of the undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants (on probation) are confirmed:

The Wellington West Coast Regiment.

Major Stanley Purser to be 2nd Lieutenant, and is seconded for duty with the 2nd C Battalion. Dated 4th February, 1927.

2nd Lieutenant A. G. Thompson, 1st C Battalion, to be Lieutenant. Dated 6th August, 1926.

The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) G. R. Haldane, 1st C Battalion, is confirmed.
