Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Edendale Town Board.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being lands reserved under the said Act) in the Edendale Town Board, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:

  1. The period for which the control of the reserves is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for disposal under the section of the Act mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 11, Block V, Opoe Survey District. Area, 25 acres.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 24th day of February, 1927.

Trustees for the Glenorchy Public Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a certain Warrant dated the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, appointing trustees for the Glenorchy Public Cemetery, and in lieu thereof do hereby appoint

John Henry Forbes,
James Robert Adam Hume,
Stanley Charlton Knowles,
Olgar Archibald John Thornton, and Donald Williamson

to be trustees to have the maintenance and care of the Glenorchy Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto.

GLENORCHY PUBLIC CEMETERY.—OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 1 and 2, Block XVIII, Glenorchy Township: Area, 13 acres.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the New Plymouth Scenic Reserves Board.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in trust, for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the New Plymouth Scenic Reserves Board, as constituted by notification dated the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in Gazette of the thirtieth day of that month.

SCHEDULE.

AWA-TE-TAKE PA SCENIC RESERVE, TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

PART Section 77, Tikorangi District, Block IX, Waitara Survey District : Area, 9 acres 1 rood.

Also Section 2, Block IX, Waitara Survey District, and part Section 44, Tikorangi District, Block IX, Waitara Survey District : Area, 3 roods 29 perches.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 28th day of February, 1927.
