Dismissal from the Forces.

His Excellency the Governor-General has approved of the
dismissal of the undermentioned from the New Zealand
Defence Forces, under section 6 (b), Defence Act, 1909,
he having been convicted by the Civil power :—

Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

Wellington, 15th February, 1926.

THE following notice, received from the Mayor of the
Council of the Borough of Foxton, is published in
accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans
Act, 1913.

FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,
I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the
Borough of Foxton taken on Wednesday, the 3rd day of
February, 1926, on the proposal of the Foxton Borough
Council to borrow the sum of £5,000, for the purpose of re-
constructing and tar-sealing certain roads and streets in the
Borough of Foxton,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 121;
the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 55.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Teviot Electric-power Board, is published in accord-
ance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1913.

TEVIOT ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Teviot Electric-power District was taken on the 15th
day of January, 1926, on the proposal of the Teviot Electric-
power Board to borrow the sum of £12,000 for the purpose
of enlarging and extending the present power scheme owned
by the Board.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 126;
the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 19.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Special Order made by the Waiapu County Council altering
Riding Boundaries.

Wellington, 10th February, 1926.

THE following special order, made by the Waiapu County
Council, is published in accordance with the provisions
of the Counties Act, 1920.
Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by sec-
tion 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921–22, I hereby fix
the 31st day of March, 1926, as the date from which the special
order shall take effect.

SPECIAL ORDER.

ALTERING A PORTION OF THE BOUNDARY-LINE BETWEEN THE
RIDINGS OF WAIPIRO AND PIRITARAU.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by section 23 of the Counties Act, 1920, the
Waiapu County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That all those blocks of land contained in the Akuaku
Block, in Section 1, Block VII, Mata Survey District, Section 1,
Block V, Waipiro Survey District, and Section 1, Block IX,
Waipiro Survey District, and at present contained in the Piri-
tarau Riding be severed from that riding and included in the
Waipiro Riding as from the 1st day of April, 1926.
The following is a description of the alteration in the
boundary-line between the Ridings of Waipiro and Piri-
tarau :
All that area in the Waiapu County commencing at a point
on the seashore at the south-east corner of Section 1, Block V,
Waipiro Survey District, thence generally in a northerly direc-
tion along the boundary of the said Section l to the Akuaku
and Waiorongomai Blocks; thence in a westerly direction
along the boundaries between Akuaku, Kokai, and Tutuwhinau
Blocks to the Waihuka Block; thence along the boundary
between the Akuaku Block and the Waihuka Block to the
north-east corner of Section 1, Block VII, Mata Survey
District; thence along the northern boundary between Sec-
tion 1, Block VIII, Mata Survey District, and the Waihuka
Block to the Kopuaroa Stream, the original boundary between
the Piritarau and Waipiro Ridings; thence in a south-easterly
direction up the centre of the aforesaid Kopuaroa Stream and
by the northern boundary of the Ohineakai Block to the sea ;
thence in a north-easterly direction along the seashore to the
place of commencement.
This order is sufficient to render the amended boundaries

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of Auckland
and Suburban Drainage District.

Wellington, 18th February, 1926.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland and Suburban
Drainage Board has presented a memorial requesting
an alteration of boundaries of the Auckland and Suburban
Drainage District by the inclusion therein of the areas described
in the Schedule hereto. All persons affected are hereby
called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions
against the proposed alteration which they desire to lodge
within one month from the first publication of this notice.
Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded
to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREAS PROPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN AUCKLAND AND
SUBURBAN DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

All that area in the One Tree Hill Road District bounded
by a line commencing at the most easterly point of the inter-
section of Green Lane with the Great South Road, on the
north-east by the north-eastern alignment of Great South
Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of
Lot 8 on plan No. 16452, deposited in the Land Registry
Office at Auckland; thence across the Great South Road
and by the said south-eastern boundary of Lot 8 and the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 24; thence on the east by
the eastern boundaries of Lots 23, 22, and 21; thence on the
north-west, north-east, and south-east by the north-western
north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 20, all on
the aforementioned plan No. 16452; thence on the south-west
by the south-western boundary of said Lot 20, for a distance
of 390 links; thence generally on the south-east by a line
bearing 198° 11', for a distance of 1375 links; a line bearing
