THE Minister of Internal Affairs directs it to be notified that, pursuant to the Taupo Harbour Regulations, 1926, he has authorized
Constable John McMullen, of Taupo, and
Ranger Charles John Wilson, of Tokaanu,
to act for such Minister for the purpose of licensing vessels plying for hire, master boatmen, and watermen, under the aforesaid regulations.

N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Fruit Control Act, 1924 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that notice by the New Zealand Fruit-export Control Board of its intention to assume control in respect of fruit intended for export, and produced in a district in which Part I of the said Act is in operation, shall be given in accordance with the following conditions:—

Such notice shall be given either by service or publication as hereinafter provided.

Where notice is given by publication in a newspaper or newspapers, such publication shall be made in the New Zealand Gazette and in at least two newspapers published and circulating in the provincial district in which such control is to be assumed.

Where a notice is given by service on either an owner of any fruit or on any person having possession thereof, such notice may be served personally or sent by registered post addressed to such owner or person at his usual place of abode or business.

The time to be specified in any notice by the Board as the time from which in any case the control of the Board shall operate shall be not less than thirty days from the last publication of any notice given by publication, or from the date of service of a notice served personally, or from the date when a notice served by post should be delivered in the ordinary course of post, as the case may be.
