In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the
matter of GREENSLADES LIMITED, a Private Company,
incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act,
1908, and having its registered office at Hamilton, in
New Zealand.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders of the above-named Greenslades Limited, held
on the 6th December, 1926, the following resolution was
unanimously carried by the shareholders thereof, and duly
entered in the minute-book of the said company, and signed
by all the shareholders therein:—
“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and
that the same be wound up accordingly; and that Henry
Joseph Wernham, of Hamilton, Accountant, be appointed
Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

of the WAITAKEREI LAND COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand, in its Northern District, dated
Friday, the 5th day of November, 1926, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from
£15,000 (divided into 15,000 shares of £1) to 10,500 (divided
into 4,800 fully paid-up shares of 10s. each, and 10,200 of
15s. each), and the minute (approved by the Court) showing
with respect to the capital of the said company as altered
the several particulars required by the above Act were
registered by the Registrar of Companies at Auckland, on
the 7th day of December, 1926; and further take notice
that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—
“The capital of the Waitakerei Land Company is £10,500,
divided into 4,800 fully paid-up shares of 10s. and 10,200
contributing shares of 15s. each, paid up to 5s. each, and at
the time of the registration of the minute 4,800 are deemed
to be fully paid up and 10,200 are deemed to be paid up to
5s. each.”

passed at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above-mentioned company, held at the
Registered Office, 301 Victoria Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on Friday, 3rd December, 1926:—
“That whereas it is proved to its satisfaction that the
company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its
business, the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
Mr. R. S. H. Biss be appointed Liquidator.”

MANUREWA TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Manurewa Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of seven thousand five hundred pounds
(£7,500), authorized to be raised by the Manurewa Town
Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
augmenting the existing loan authorities in respect to the
Great South Road, the said Manurewa Town Board hereby
makes and levies a special rate of five-thirteenths of a penny
in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property,
comprising the whole of the Manurewa Town District; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of August in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.

THE following resolutions have been duly passed as special resolutions by the members of the above-named
company, this 8th day of December, 1926:
(a.) That William Strachan and Company (Limited) be
wound up voluntarily.
(b.) That Messrs. Charles Speight and Hugh Adam, both
of Dunedin, Company Directors, be appointed
Liquidators for the purpose of winding up the affairs
of the company, without remuneration.

8 o'clock in the evening, for the purpose of having an account
laid before the company showing the manner in which the
winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may
be given by the Liquidator.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members
of the Cheviot Trotting Club at a meeting held on
the 15th day of November, 1926, at Cheviot, with a recommendation by the Chairman of such club, Mr. A. E. Denton,
that the same be passed at once, with a view to their approval
by His Excellency the Governor-General, in pursuance of
the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. A. E. Denton, the Chairman of such club, and the
meeting, moved, and Mr. J. Paton seconded, and it was
resolved that such regulations should be adopted, and that
the Chairman and the Secretary be authorized to sign the
same in authentication thereof.
