Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Pur-
poses of a Road, in the County of Manukau, at Tironui.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of land taken for the purposes of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to
allocate such land to the purposes of a road :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursu-
ance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me
by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works
Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon
the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a
road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the
Manukau County Council, and shall be maintained by the
said Council in like manner as other public highways are
controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land : 1 rood 14ยท3 perches
and 1 rood 12ยท7 perches.
Portions of Railway Reserve (part Section 8, Village of Papa-
kura), Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District, Manukau
County. (S.O. 23393, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 36803, de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Welling-
ton, and thereon bordered sepia and orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of
December, 1926.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve at Moana to be
Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Public Works Amend-
ment Act, 1909, it is provided that in the case of any
land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work,
and not required for that purpose, the Governor may, on
recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare
such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924,
and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed
of under that Act accordingly :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on me by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act,
1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 roods 39 perches.
Portion of railway reserve, Block IV, Brunner Survey
District, Grey County. (S.O. 2590.)
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 38538,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wel-
ington, and thereon bordered blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of Decem-
ber, 1926.
