I, JOSEPH LIVINGSTONE FRAZER, heretofore called and known by the name of Joseph Livingstone Frazerhurst, of Kawakawa, in the Provincial District of Auckland, Medical Practitioner, hereby give public notice that on the 22nd day of December, 1925, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of the said surname of “Frazerhurst,” and then assumed, and adopted, and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of “Frazer” instead of the said surname of “Frazerhurst.” And I give further notice by a deed-poll dated the 22nd day of December, 1925, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court at Auckland on the 2nd day of February, 1926, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said surname of “Frazerhurst,” and declared that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of “Joseph Livingstone Frazer” instead of “Joseph Livingstone Frazerhurst,” and so as to be at all times hereafter called, known, and described by the name of “Joseph Livingstone Frazer” exclusively.

NOTICE RESPECTING PROPOSED ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES.
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General under section 134 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto, being now part of land reclaimed from the sea, may be included in the City of Auckland. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed inclusion which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

Area to be included in the City of Auckland.
All that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement seven acres two roods thirty-seven decimal five eight perches, more or less, being Allenby Street, Plumer Street, part of Haig Street, part of Block 21, the whole of Block 22, and part of Block 23 of land reclaimed from the sea at Auckland. Bounded towards the north-east by the Waitemata Harbour, 839·82 links; towards the south-east by other part of the said Block 23, 922·07 links; towards the south-west by King’s Drive, 936·36 links; and towards the north-west by other part of the said Block 21, 922·07 links. HURSTHOUSE ROAD BRIDGES LOAN £325.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £325, authorized to be raised by the Inglewood County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of constructing two bridges on the Hursthouse Road within the Hursthouse Road Special-rating Area (one bridge over the Manganaea Stream and one over Waiongonaiti Stream), the Inglewood County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifty-seven one-hundredths part of a penny in the pound (57/100ths part of a penny in the £1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Hursthouse Road Bridges Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of the following properties: Sections 98, 156 acres; 49, part 50, 121 acres; part 50, Section 80, 120 acres; part 135 and part 134, 113 acres 3 roods; Section 1 of Section 133, 113 acres; Section 53, 81 acres; Section 55, 60 acres; Section 54, 61 acres 2 roods 32 perches; Section 99 west part of 140, 113 acres (all of Block XI, Paritutu Survey District); Section 133/4 and part 135, 113 acres; Section 1 of 100, part 106, 95 acres; Section 2 of 100, part 106, 90 acres; Section 98, part 99, 61 acres; Part Section 100, 87 acres; part Section 135, 76 acres (all of Block IV, Egmont Survey District), within the said special-rating area. Such rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off. 184
